Writer | Agent | Lover of Treats
Maggie Cooper
I'm Maggie—a writer, literary agent, and occasional teacher. I love historic houses; queer liberation; ice cream; and books that make the world kinder, weirder, more joyful, or all of the above.I've worked at independent and university presses, literary magazines, and bookstores; I've chaperoned my fair share of high school dances; and (if I do say so myself) I bake an excellent scone. I hold a B.A. in English from Yale College, earned a M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, and attended the Clarion Writers Workshop. Now, I'm based in the Boston area and on the internet.
